1.Qinghai Lake

Qinghai Lake, located at the junction of Gangcha County, Gonghe County and Haiyan County in Qinghai Province, is the largest inland lake in China. It is also known as “Kukunor”, which means “blue sea” in Mongolian. It was formed by the fault collapse between Datong Mountain, Riyue Mountain and Nanshan Mountain in Qilian Mountain. The plateau continental climate creates different beautiful scenery in four seasons.
2.Ta’er Monastery

Ta’er Monastery, located in Huangzhong District, Xining City, Qinghai Province, has a history of more than 400 years. It is one of the important monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism and the birthplace of Master Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Yellow Sect. Butter sculptures, murals and pile embroidery are known as the “three unique arts of Ta’er Monastery”.
3.Huzhu Tu Nationality Homeland Park

The Huzhu Tu Nationality Homeland Park, located in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is a park with the theme of Tu culture. The Tu people have formed their own unique culture in the long historical process. The sleeves of Tu women are made of different colors such as red, yellow, black, green and white, just like a rainbow in the sky. Therefore, this place is known as the “hometown of the rainbow.”
4.Amidonso

Amidongso Scenic Area is located in Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Amidongso is the name of a sacred mountain, commonly known as “Niuxin Mountain”. The scenic area is located in the middle section of Qilian Mountains. Here you can enjoy the complete vertical natural landscape belt of Qilian Mountains, the red cliffs of Zhuoer Mountain, the snow-covered scenery of Amidongso, the sacred mountain in Tibet, and the most beautiful grassland in China at the foot of Qilian Mountains.
5.Chaka Salt Lake

Chaka Salt Lake is located in Chaka Town, Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Prefecture, Qinghai Province, nestling against the two sacred mountains of Kunlun and Qilian. Chaka Salt Lake is a famous natural crystalline salt lake in the Qaidam Basin and China’s “Sky Mirror”.
6.Menyuan Rapeseed Flowers

Menyuan rapeseed flowers refer to a beautiful and spectacular man-made landscape in Menyuan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Menyuan County is the birthplace of rapeseed in the north. The rapeseed flowers in Menyuan County start from Qingshizui in the west, extend to Yulongtan in the east, Lenglongling at the border with Gansu in the north, and Dabanshan in the south. Looking around, the entire rapeseed field is like a golden sea with no end in sight. Against the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds of the plateau and the snow-capped mountains, there is an overwhelming sense of the Northwest.
7.Zhuoer Mountain

Zhuoer Mountain Scenic Area is located in Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, on the north bank of Babao River, across the river from the sacred Tibetan mountain Amidongso (Niuxin Mountain). Zhuoer Mountain is a branch of the Qilian Mountains, showing a hilly grassland scenery, and its own landform belongs to Danxia landform. The exposed parts of the mountain are all red sandstone, which overlaps with the green grassland, which is very beautiful.
8.Guide National Geopark

Guide National Geopark is located in Guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Guide National Geopark is famous for its colorful Danxia landforms, which are colorful and diverse in shape. The scenic area includes Ashgong Gorge, Yellow River Valley, Mawu Gorge, etc., but the main attraction is the Ashgong Colorful Peaks Scenic Area.
9.Beishan National Forest Park

Beishan National Forest Park is located in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province. It can be regarded as the back garden of Xining City. It has beautiful mountains, dense forests, lakes, rivers and waterfalls in the mountains. The scenery is warm and beautiful. The park mainly has two scenic spots, Langshidang and Zhalonggou.
10.Danggar Ancient City

Dangar Ancient City, located in Huangyuan County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, has been prosperous in history due to the tea-horse trade. The Tang-Tibet Ancient Road and the Southern Silk Road pass through here, and it is known as the “Throat of the Sea and Tibet” and “Tea-Horse Commercial Capital”. The ancient city is centered on Dangar Street. There are temples such as the City God Temple and the Golden Buddha Temple in the ancient city, most of which are old buildings built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
11.Qilian Mountain Grassland

Qilian Mountain Grassland is located at the northern foot of Lenglongling in Qilian Mountain, Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. The area above 4,000 meters above sea level is called the snow line. Above the snow line of Qilian Mountain, reverse biological wonders often appear. The representative of Qilian Mountain Grassland, Damaying Grassland, is in the basin between Yanzhi Mountain and Qilian Mountain.
12.Kunlun Pass

Kunlun Pass, located near National Highway 109 in Golmud City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is a must-go place to Tibet and a major pass on the Qinghai-Tibet Highway. Kunlun Pass is 4,767 meters above sea level and is the first hurdle to challenge altitude sickness.
13.Kembula National Forest Park

Kanbula National Forest Park is located in Jianzha County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Kanbula is a typical Danxia landform. Going along the Nanzong Valley, there are towering Chifeng and wind-eroded residual hills on both sides. There are dense forests in the mountains and forests. Every autumn when the leaves are golden, the mountains, waters and leaves are the most beautiful.
14.Xianmi National Forest Park

Xianmi National Forest Park is located in Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It covers three towns in Menyuan County and is the largest forest area in Qinghai Province. Watered by the snow water from the Qilian Mountains, the forests here are lush and green, and the environment is quiet and misty. In autumn, the yellow leaves are everywhere, which is very beautiful.
15.Halihatu National Forest Park

Harihatu National Forest Park, located in Ulan County, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is one of the largest virgin forests in China. Most of the forests there are about 300-500 years old, maintaining a good forest and grassland ecological environment.
16.Qarhan Salt Lake

Chaerhan Salt Lake, located in Chaerhan Town, Golmud City, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is the largest salt lake in China. The Qinghai-Tibet Railway passes through it. Chaerhan Salt Lake is the lowest and most central area of the Qaidam Basin. It is difficult for all green plants to grow in Chaerhan Salt Lake, but it breeds crystal-like jade.
17.Alien ruins

The alien ruins are located around a cave on Baigong Mountain, east of Tuosu Lake in Delingha City, Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Province. There are some iron pipes and iron sheet-like things scattered outside the cave. There are iron pipes of different diameters in the cave that penetrate the mountain, just like inserting the pipes directly into the middle of the stone. The pipes are rusty brown-red. There are also various strange-shaped stones outside the cave. The stones are standing, and some even stand in the lake next to them. There are also a series of mysterious symbols and unsolved letters on the sandstone rock layer.
18.Animachen Snow Mountain

The Amnye Machen Snow Mountain, located in the northwest of Machen County, Golog Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is the largest mountain at the source of the Yellow River. The main peak, Machen Gangri, is 6,282 meters above sea level and is regarded as a sacred mountain by Tibetan compatriots. The strange glacier world is in various shapes and forms, sparkling and dazzling. The abundant meltwater from ice and snow gathers into countless trickling streams, winding and interlaced, and lakes of all sizes sparkle.
