1、Chongqing Kanggu Scenic Area
Kanggu Scenic Area is located in the east of Chengkou County, Chongqing, about 39 kilometers away from the county seat. It is located in the hinterland of Daba Mountain, about 35 kilometers long from north to south, with an altitude of 900-2680 meters, and has the characteristics of a three-dimensional mountain climate. The forest coverage area reaches 90%, the canyon is deep, the peaks are beautiful, and it is known as the “Little Zhangjiajie”.
Kanggu Scenic Area is positioned as “Bashan Original Hometown·China Kanggu”, with “Long Stay” vacation and “Original” style vacation corridor as the development theme. The scenic area has beautiful scenery, extremely high negative oxygen ion content, cool in summer, snow in winter, booming rural tourism, and rich folk culture. It is a preferred place for vacation, summer vacation, and scientific expedition.
Kanggu is located at the mysterious 31 degrees north latitude, on the geographical north-south dividing line of China. It has the largest terraced peak cluster in Chongqing, Sichuan and Shaanxi, the most complete ecological landscape system of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and grasses in southern China, and the source of China’s longest westward-flowing river (Ren River). It has unique mountains, rivers, peaks, rocks, scenery and meanings, all of which are natural and unique.
Kanggu is the most densely populated scenic spot of cliffs, cliffs and canyons in Chongqing, presenting a magnificent scene of “peaks are not even a foot away from the sky, and dead pines hang upside down on the cliffs”. The largest alpine canyon glass corridor bridge in China has been built, which can carry 2,500 people at the same time. An 8-kilometer cliff plank road has been built, which is one of the most precipitous cliff plank roads in Chongqing. It has the largest rafting in Chongqing, and tourists praise “rafting in mineral water” because of its pure and transparent water quality.
The Kanggu Scenic Area mainly includes natural landscapes such as Longxiakou, Yeren Creek, Dabashan Animal Conservation Station, Golden Eagle Rock (also known as Moon Rock), Brown Bear Valley, Canyon Rafting, Micai Waterfall, Tiger Watching Pigs, Fish Spring, Guanyin Rock (One Line Sky), Monkey Cave Bay, Monkey Looking at the Sea, Natural Bridge, Cockscomb Stone, Stone Forest, Tiaoyutan, Luoquan Rock, Sifang Stele, and White Robe General; there are also cultural landscapes such as Bashan Old Courtyard and Kanggu People’s Home.
About ticket prices and discount policies
Kangjiazhai is the only paid scenic spot in the entire Kanggu. The main charging items for visiting the scenic spot include: scenic spot tickets, sightseeing buses, sightseeing cableways, and glass corridors. The listed price of scenic spot tickets is 120 yuan, the listed price of sightseeing bus tickets is 30 yuan, the listed price of sightseeing cableways is 60 to 80 yuan, and the listed price of glass corridors is 100 yuan.
The official operation began on June 21, 2023, and the scenic spot launched a series of ticket discount policies. Mainly including:
①: From June 21, 2023 to June 21, 2024, all tourists entering the Kangjiazhai scenic spot are free of tickets.
②: From June 21, 2023 to June 21, 2024, residents of Linyi City, Shandong Province, which supports Chengkou through the East-West Cooperation, and Jiulongpo District, Chongqing City, which supports Chengkou through the coordinated development of “one district and two groups”, with valid identity certificates, are exempt from all charges for scenic spot tickets, sightseeing buses, sightseeing cableways, glass corridors, etc.

④: Local residents of Chengkou, with local ID cards, will be subject to the preferential prices of travel agencies.
2、Xiangtu Lantian Scenic Area
Lantian Township is located in the eastern part of Chengkou County. It is a “National Civilized Town”, a municipal “Green Village”, a “Beautiful and Livable Demonstration Township”, and a Chongqing Municipal Tourism Demonstration Township Creation Unit. It is 1000-1300 meters above sea level, with an average temperature of 22℃ in summer and 3℃ in winter. There is no extreme heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. The four seasons are distinct, making it a good place for living, traveling and working. The scenic area has many attractions such as Rural Happy Valley, Happy Water World, Dabashan Bee Love Garden, and Luohong Creek.
3、Huanganba Ecological Science Education Base
Huanganba Ecological Science Education Base is located in Xinglong Village, Dong’an Town, Chengkou County, at an altitude of about 2,200 meters. It is the largest alpine grassland in the south. Due to the high altitude, the scenic area is very cool even in summer. You can even experience autumn clothes at night. It has been rated as a cool resort in Chongqing.
4、Houping Longpan Resort
Houping Longpan Resort is located at the foot of Guangtou Mountain, the second highest peak in Chongqing. The resort is 1,400-2,868 meters above sea level, with an average annual temperature of 22°C. The climate is pleasant, cool and livable, making it a good place to cool off in the summer. It has 36 forest families, more than 1,000 rooms, more than 1,500 beds, and can accommodate more than 2,000 tourists per day.
5、Heyu Liangshanmen Resort
Heyu Liangshanmen Resort is located in the livestock village of Heyu Township, Chengkou County, with a superior geographical location. The average annual temperature is less than 20℃, which has obvious advantages for summer vacation. The resort is located in the mountain stream as a whole, and retains a relatively intact natural ecological environment. 7、Zhiping Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms
Zhiping Shili Peach Blossoms is located in Muguaping, Huimin Community, Zhiping Township, Chengkou County, with an altitude of more than 1,200 meters, and overlooks the forest landscape of Dabashan Nature Reserve. 8、Beiping Taiping Resort
Beiping Taiping Resort is located in Taiping Village and Yuefeng Village, Beiping Township, Chengkou County. It is the core area of the Daba Mountain Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park, with an altitude of 1,100-1,200 meters. It is located in the Daba Mountain Selenium-rich Belt. It has built a sightseeing experience park of more than 500 acres of special agricultural products such as strawberries, kiwis, blueberries, grapes, green plums and edible fungi, which can be picked all year round. Among them, the Daluoyan scenic spot in Yuefeng Village is equipped with viewing trails, viewing platforms, wind and rain covered bridges, square stages, service rooms, sanitary toilets and other infrastructure, which can provide tourists with leisure, fishing in rice fields, outdoor water play, entertainment, catering and other services.
9、Gao Nan Fang Dou Ping
Gaonan Fangdouping is located in Fangdou Village, 30 kilometers north of Gaonan Town, Chengkou County, Chongqing. It is located in the core area of the national nature reserve, surrounded by high mountains, with a wide and flat dam bottom, and is named after its shape like a giant bucket. The area is over 1,300 meters above sea level, and retains the original ecological wooden houses, tile slate and other residential forms.
