1.Gulangyu Island
Gulangyu Island is located in the southwest of Xiamen Island, Fujian Province, across the sea from Xiamen City. It has a unique overseas Chinese hometown style, delicious southern Fujian snacks, and many old buildings of different styles. There are many petty bourgeoisie shops on the island, such as Zhang Sanfeng Milk Tea Shop, Su Xiaotang, and Miss Zhao’s Shop.
2.Wuyi Mountain
Wuyi Mountain, located in Nanping City, Fujian Province, is one of the few natural and cultural heritage sites. Wuyi Mountain combines the scenery of mountains and rivers. It is not only “strange, beautiful, ancient”, but also achieves a wonderful state in the close combination of mountains and waters, and the harmonious unity of humanities and nature.
3.Taimu Mountain
Taimu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is a scenic area with granite peaks and caves as its characteristics, integrating mountains, sea, rivers and cultural landscapes. Taimu Mountain is the main scenic area of Taimu Mountain Scenic Area. Taimu Mountain stands majestically on the coast of the East China Sea and is known as the “Fairyland on the Sea”.
4.Three Lanes and Seven Alleys
Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, located in Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, are the ten lanes and alleys that are located in the center of Fuzhou City. The three lanes and seven alleys are the general name for the ten lanes and alleys that are arranged from north to south on both sides of Nanhou Street. The three lanes are Yijin Lane, Wenru Lane, and Guanglu Lane. The seven alleys are Yangqiao Lane, Langguan Lane, Anmin Lane, Huang Lane, Ta Lane, Gong Lane, and Jipi Lane.
5.Yongding Tulou
Yongding Tulou, also known as Yongding Hakka Tulou, is located in Yongding District, Longyan City, Fujian Province. Hakka Tulou is also called Fujian Tulou, among which the Tulou in Yongding, Longyan, Fujian and Nanjing, Zhangzhou are the most famous. Among the traditional Chinese Han architecture, Hakka Tulou is unique, with square, round, octagonal and oval shapes. There are more than 8,000 Tulou in the province, which are large in scale and beautiful in shape. They are both scientific and practical, and have their own characteristics.
6.Meizhou Island
Located in Xiuyu District, Putian City, Fujian Province, it is the second largest island in Putian City. The island is long and narrow from north to south, and is named after its eyebrow shape. It is known as the “Penglai of the South” and is the birthplace of Mazu culture. Meizhou Island includes more than 30 islands, islets and reefs.
7.Dongshan Island
Dongshan Island, located in Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, is the second largest island in Fujian Province. It is an Instagram-style island with beautiful scenery and simple folk customs. The scene of Little Ear crying to the sea in the movie “Left Ear” was filmed in Nanmen Bay on the island. It is said that this wind-moving stone will shake as long as the wind blows, as if it will fall down if you are not careful, which is very magical.
8.Baishuiyang Yuanyang Creek
Baishuiyang Yuanyang Creek is located in Pingnan County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. The entire scenic area is crescent-shaped and is divided into five major scenic areas: Baishuiyang, Yiyang, Liugongyan, Taibao Tower, and Yuanyang Lake. It integrates the landscape of streams, peaks, rocks, waterfalls, caves, and lakes.
9.Taining Scenic Area
Taining Scenic Area is located in Taining County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. Seven major scenic spots have been developed, including Jinhu Lake, Shangqingxi, Zhuangyuan Rock, Maoer Mountain, Jiulongtan, Zhaixia Grand Canyon, and Taining Ancient City. The main landscape features are Danxia on the water, canyon communities, cave wonders, and primitive ecology. Jida Jinhu Lake can be said to be the best among lakes and mountains, and has the reputation of “the best lake and mountain in the world”.
10.Taoyuan Cave
Taoyuan Cave, located in Yong’an, Sanming City, Fujian Province, is named after the Peach Blossom Stream in the scenic area. Li Gang of the Song Dynasty wrote in a poem: “The palm trees are a hundred miles away from Shaxi, and the water and rocks are called Xiao Wuyi”, so it is also called “Xiao Wuyi”.
11.Scale Hidden Stone Forest
Linyin Stone Forest is located in Yong’an City, Sanming City, Fujian Province. The scenic area is a typical karst landform. The scenic area includes Linyin Stone Forest, Hongyunshan Stone Forest, Shibadong and other scenic spots. It is second only to Yunnan Stone Forest in scale and can be regarded as the second in the country. It has been rated as a national key scenic spot.
12.Guanzhi Mountain
Guanzhi Mountain is situated in Liancheng County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. The Guanzhi Mountain Scenic Area boasts the reputation of “the city nestled within the scenery, and the scenery embedded within the city.” It holds a sacred place in the hearts of the Hakka people. As the character “豸” (zhi) represents an ancient mythical beast symbolizing strength and justice, Guanzhi Mountain is also known as “Mountain of Justice.” Alongside Mount Wuyi, it is collectively referred to as “The Northern Wuyi and Southern Guanzhi, A Pair of Unique Danxia Landscapes.”
13.Qingyuan Mountain
Qingyuan Mountain, located in Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, is the first and only 5A-level scenic spot in Quanzhou. It can be regarded as a landmark attraction in Quanzhou. The biggest highlight of the whole mountain is the Laojun Rock at the foot of the mountain, which is the sculpture of Laozi. It is the largest, most skillfully carved and oldest Taoist stone sculpture in my country.
14.Gutian Tourist Area
Gutian Tourist Area is located in Gutian Town, Shanghang County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. The scenic area includes the Gutian Conference Site and the Gutian Conference Memorial Hall. Gutian is one of the first batch of historical and cultural towns in China. Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Chen Yi and other older generation proletarian revolutionaries have carried out great revolutionary practices on this land.
15.Zhu Xi’s hometown
Zhu Xi’s hometown, located in Wufu Town, Nanping City, Fujian Province, was first built in the 14th year of the Southern Song Dynasty. It was rebuilt many times in successive dynasties and was later destroyed in the late Republic of China. The Ziyang Tower that still exists is the former residence of Zhu Xi, which contains the half-acre square pond, Lingquan Ancient Well, and Zhuzi Camphor, where Zhu Xi studied when he was young. There are also Zhuzi Lane, Xingxian Academy, Xingxian Ancient Street, Zhuzi Community Granary and other historical sites near Ziyang Tower.
16.Minyue Ruins
The Minyue Ruins are located in Wuyishan, Nanping City, Fujian Province. The Hancheng Ruins, dating back to the first century BC, was a royal city during the Minyue Kingdom period of the Western Han Dynasty. The ruins span three hills, with a length of about 860 meters from north to south and a width of about 550 meters from east to west, and an area equivalent to two-thirds of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
17.Clouds and Waters Ballad
Yunshuiyao is located in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Yunshuiyao Scenic Area was not originally called Yunshuiyao. It became widely known due to the filming of the movie “Yunshuiyao” and was renamed Yunshuiyao. It is part of Nanjing Tulou and is also a popular place to stay in Nanjing Tulou. The scenic area includes three attractions: Yunshuiyao Ancient Town, Hegui Tower and Huaiyuan Tower.
18.Haitan Island
Haitan Island, also known as Pingtan Island, is the largest island in Fujian and is known as the “County of Thousand Reefs”. The main attractions on the island include Sanshiliujiao Lake, Shipaiyang Reef, Xianrenjing and Haitan Tianshen, as well as Longfengtou Resort and Tannanwan Beach. In addition, the stone houses on the island are also a major feature.
19.Jinrao Mountain
Jinrao Mountain is located in Jianning County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, with an altitude of 1,858 meters. It is known as the “No. 1 Peak in Fujian Province”. In southeastern my country, it is second only to Taiwan’s Yushan Mountain and the main peaks of Wuyi Mountain, Huanggang Mountain (2,158 meters) and Xianglu Mountain (1,930 meters). It is known as the “No. 1 Peak in Southeast China”.
20.Lingtong Mountain
Lingtong Mountain is located in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Lingtong Mountain, known as the “No. 1 Mountain in Southern Fujian”, is one of the main scenic spots of the ecological tourism town of Daxi Town, a town of Fujian and Taiwan Hakka culture. It is known for its dangerous peaks, strange rocks, floating clouds, clear springs, secluded valleys, and mysterious caves, and is known as the “Little Huangshan Mountain”.
21.Jiuxian Mountain
Jiuxian Mountain is located in Dehua County, Fujian Province, at the junction of Chishui, Shangyong and Daming townships in the northwest of Dehua, the ancient porcelain capital of China, with an altitude of 1,658 meters. Jiuxian Mountain has three unique features: sunrise, sea of clouds and misty pines.
22.Volcanic Island
The Volcano Island Natural Ecological Scenic Area is located in Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. The scenic area preserves the structural features of the central volcanic eruption and the geological landforms of later weathering and sea erosion. The scenic area consists of “three mountains (Xiangshan, Yanlou Mountain and Yulinshi Mountain), three islands (Linjin Island, Nanding Island and Zhengmei Peninsula), and three bays (Qisha Bay, Jiangkou Bay and Houcai Bay)”.
23.Daixian Waterfall
Daixian Waterfall is located in Shuikou Town, Dehua County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It originates from the foot of Shiniushan Mountain in the east of Dehua County at an altitude of 1,782 meters. The stream flows through the majestic Feixian Peak and cascades down 184.053 meters. It is known as the “No. 1 Waterfall in East China.”
24.Jiuli Lake
Jiuli Lake is located in Zhongshan Town, Xianyou County, Putian City, Fujian Province. Jiuli Lake is one of the “Four Major Scenic Spots” of Xianyou (Jiuli Lake, Maixiayan, Caixiyan and Tianma Mountain). It is famous for its lake, cave, waterfall and stone, especially the waterfall, and is known as “the most amazing Jiuli Waterfall in the World”.
25.Qingyun Mountain
Qingyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in Yongtai County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. The average altitude of the tourist area is over 1,000 meters and it consists of five major scenic areas.
